Ebb & Flow

Ups & Downs

There is no controlling the ups and downs of our experiences.

Our “ebb and flow” is natural.  Both follow each other, like the yin and the yang.

We’ve got to ebb to get to flow, and vice-versa.

So if they happen, what can we do?

Manage.

Here are three quick tips that I’ve learned in trying to manage both Ebb and Flow:

Ebb

  • Forgive yourself
  • Seek out the most critical parts of your day and focus on that only
  • Put an “outing” on your calendar once a week and try to stick to it.

Flow

  • Forgive Yourself
  • Communicate your intent as clearly as possible
  • Put a “check orientation” reminder on your calendar.
