I know it feels weird and you’ve heard it’s better to comply.
Ignore that for a moment.
Look at the world as if you have the opportunity to change the landscape. You are now in charge of your destiny.
What do you want to do with it?
Think about it, and negotiate.
Win or lose; you’ll get better at getting what you want.
That is a critical skill.
