Saying things people don't like to hear will have people questioning your tone – even if you don't like it.
By all means – try to speak with a bit of class, make it better, communicate effectively.
But if you aren't in the position to get it the way you want it, don't throw it out – an antidote that tastes terrible is still an antidote.
