Society is trained to keep you in line.
If you jump out of the system, generally it isn't the guy at the top that tries to rein you in, its the person next to you in the factory that tells you about "trouble".
Keeping ourselves encased in a world of safe leaves us unfulfilled, and keeps things the same, and society is built on keeping things the same.
