When can be just as important as where and what
- How much could your day change if you woke up fifteen minutes earlier (to get that blog post in)? What about an hour later (to feel more relaxed when you come in the office)?
- What change could you see if you went to the gym at 2 PM (when your mind slows down) instead of after work?
- How about if you take the train at 7:30 or 10:30 (way lighter traffic and smoother commute) instead of 8:45?
I am in the middle of reading When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing from Daniel Pink, and one thing this book is making crystal clear is the importance of timing.
Our bodies work on cadence, not the clock, and spending the time to understand just how your cadence work is an oft looked at to improve your day radically.
I recommend the book.
